NEW – NEWCASTLE DEPOT OPENS FOR BUSINESS!
We are proud to announce that as part of the group’s expansion we have opened up our fifth crane depot that is open for business as from today 11.09.2017.
The new depot facility is based in Newcastle, which will be the company’s second depot in the North East of England.
The new depot will initially house seven of the company’s cranes with a view to growing the depot to twelve machines in 2018. The depot will offer capacities ranging from 35 to 500 tonnes, which will be the main location of the groups flagship heavy crane, the mighty 500t Liebherr LTM1500-8.1 which will be delivered in October 2017. The depot will also offer contract lifting support staff, lifting equipment, heavy transportation, and service support vehicles.
The new depot will be managed by Gary Brown, who has joined the company today after serving 25 years with Ainscough Crane Hire, most recently as their Newcastle depot manager. With the help of Gary and the companies experienced sales and operational teams, the company is aiming to further expand the group within the coming years. The group will also continue to invest in key industry personnel, additional cranes and equipment which will further strengthen our operational arm throughout the spine of its depot networks.
Dylan Thomas, Director, commented: ‘We are all extremely pleased with the way the company has continued to expand in 2017. For this expansion to happen we needed to overhaul the sales team. Following on from our sales restructure it was necessary to add key operational employees and with the appointment of Gary Brown today the new Newcastle Depot is definitely in safe hands. I have no doubt that over the coming years this depot will go from strength to strength! I also want to add that we also have another new depot planned within England which again will further enhance the company’s operational areas – so watch this space over the coming six months.
